Barbara M. Kelley is corporate vice president Communications and Investor Relations for Bausch & Lomb, responsible for investor, media and public relations, organizational communications and public affairs. She was named to this post in October 2001.
Ms. Kelley joined Bausch & Lomb in 1983 as manager public relations. She was named director of public affairs in 1986 and staff vice president public affairs in 1993. She was elected an officer of the corporation and named corporate vice president public affairs in 1994. She was named vice president corporate communications in 1997.
Prior to joining Bausch & Lomb, Ms. Kelley held positions in community and public relations at Rochester Telephone Corporation, now Frontier Telephone of Rochester.
Ms. Kelley was born in Wellsville, N.Y., in July 1946. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Rochester in 1976 and a Master of Business Administration in Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1981.
Ms. Kelley serves on the board of directors of Unity Health System, the Advisory Board of the University of Rochester Eye Institute, and the Stewardship Council of the Catholic Diocese of Rochester. She previously chaired the board of directors of the United Way of Greater Rochester. |
