Barbara Goloski is Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Price Chopper Office. She joined Putnam Bank in 1990 as a part-time teller. She was promoted to Assistant Head Teller, Head Teller, Assistant Branch Manager, in 1999 was promoted to the position of Branch Manager of the Pomfret Office, and in 2006 was made branch manager of the Price Chopper Office. She has received numerous diplomas through the Center for Financial Training including: General Banking, Certified Customer Service Representative, Certified Teller, Consumer Lending, Operations and Supervisory Skills. She is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management where she received her diploma in 2000. She is continuing her education at the Center for Financial Training and Quinebaug Valley Community College. Barbara is an active volunteer for numerous organizations in the area including: March of Dimes, Day Kimball Hospital's Deary Road Race, Positively Pomfret, the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Girl Scouts of America, the Thompson Historical Society and Habitat for Humanity. She is also a member of the Day Kimball Hospital Women's Board and the Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group (TEEG). Barbara and her husband have made their home in Thompson since 1979. They have two children, as well as a granddaughter. |
