Barbara brings extensive financial and investment experience to her role as Principal with Cypress Wealth Advisors. In 1994, she was the founding President and CEO of Springcreek Corporation, a private multi-family office that invested in equities, real estate, venture capital, and a variety of alternative investments. Her company consistently outperformed the corresponding investment benchmarks, and both the equity and real estate investments significantly outperformed the major averages over a 10-year period. Previously, Barbara had been a Vice President at Chase Manhattan Bank directly managing multiple client relationships as well as leading relationship managers for the Northern California Private Bank and the Private Bank lending team for the state of California. She began her career with the Private Bank at Wells Fargo Bank as a Vice President, responsible for managing client relationships, investments and real estate financing. Barbara has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, an M.A. from the University of San Francisco, and an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. |
