Barbara Carlini has served as the Corporate Vice President of Mobile Devices IT at Motorola, since May 2006. Prior to Motorola, Barbara served as Chief Information Officer of Diageo (formerly Guinness North America), responsible for leveraging technology as a key driver of organic growth for the company. Prior to joining Diageo, Barbara served as Senior IT Director at Nabisco. She started her technology career in 1987 as a programmer and analyst at Berlex Laboratories, a specialty pharmaceutical company. She later joined Automatic Data Processing (ADP) as a senior programmer, rising to Director, IT Project Management in 1996. While at ADP, Barbara completed her BS in business administration at Montclair State University.
She serves on the Board of Directors for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, and is also a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee, Audit Committee, and Compensation Committee. Barbara also is an active member of the Society for Information Management (SIM). She is very sought after as a speaker and has been featured in numerous publications, including Consumer Goods Technology, CIO Today and Computerworld. |
