Dr. Banwari is the Director of Environmental & Industrial Biotechnology at The Energy Resources Institute ("TERI") in New Delhi. TERI is a 600 person R&D facility with over 150 PhDs in five locations around India. Dr. Banwari developed the GloriOil technology while working at TERI, for which the Oil Minister in India gave him the National Petroleum Management Program Award in 2003. Dr. Banwari was a recent finalist for the World Technology Award, San Francisco. He has published over 25 papers and holds several MEOR patents. Dr. Banwari received his BS, MS and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Rajasthan, India. |
