Dr. Bhyravbhatla received his doctorate in Biophysics from Brandeis University under the guidance of Professor Donald. L. D. Caspar. He went on do a post-doc in Florida State University and later continued there as a Visiting Faculty. In 2001 he moved to University of Massachusettes Medical School as a faculty member in the Biochemistry and Pharmacology department and also served as the CORE Director for the X-ray facility. His interests are in the virus and protein crystallography with background in fiber diffraction and also computational methods. Dr. Bhyravbhatla co-founded Xtal Biostructures along with Dr. Suto in April of 2005 and lends his extensive experience in laboratory and project management to Xtal. |
