His primary responsibility at IGI is to foster the development of a high-availability Internet-oriented network computing infrastructure for ASP solutions.
In 1999 he also developed and taught the first course for Rutgers University Internet Institute that had a partnership with IGI. Bala holds his CCNA and is also a Cisco Instructor qualified to teach in any of its Network Academies. His next Certification is that of CISSP.
He has been instrumental in bringing advanced Internet connectivity to IGI and its offshore development centers, first by overseeing the design and operation of VSNL (the original Internet service provider in the region), and more recently by leading the engineering team responsible for creating the ASP portal hub migration to a level II facility. |
