Mr. Whitehead is an Executive Vice President of the Company, which he joined in January 2001. Prior to joining Penn Virginia, Mr. Whitehead served in various positions with Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation. From 1998 to 2001, he served as Senior Vice President during which time he oversaw Cabot’s drilling, production, and exploration activity in the Appalachia, Rocky Mountains, Mid-Continent and the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast areas. From 1992 to 1998, he was Vice President and Regional Manager of Cabot’s Appalachian business unit and from 1989 to 1992, he was Vice President and Regional Manager of Cabot’s Anadarko business unit. From 1987 to 1989, he served as Vice President of Engineering for Cabot. From 1972 to 1987, he held various engineering and supervisory positions with Texaco, Columbia Gas Transmission, and Cabot. |
