Babu Mandava is President and Co-founder of Beceem Communications, Inc. Mandava has more than twenty-two years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to co-founding Beceem, Mandava was a co-founder of Centillium Communications, a semiconductor company well known for product innovations in ADSL and VOIP. At Centillium, Mandava played a key role in the design and architecture of the SIMD/VLIW DSP processor that enabled Centillium to introduce breakthrough industry-first products like multi-channel ADSL modem and high density VOIP chips. Mandava obtained an M.S.E.E. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and is the named inventor on five U.S. patents. Mandava has had several articles published in the areas of design for testability and fault tolerant processor design. |
