Mr. Hartley became Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Corporation in 1983 having previously served as President. He is also Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Southside Bank having served as Southside Bank's Chief Executive Officer since its opening in 1960. He is Chairman of the American Bankers Association National BankPac Committee a former member of the American Bankers Association Board of Directors a member of the Board of Directors of East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare Systems and past Chairman of Texas Taxpayers and Research Association. He is also a Trustee of the R. W. Fair Foundation. He is Chairman of the Texas Bankers General Agency Inc. and a Trustee and a member of the Executive Committee of Texas College. |
