Azra Z. Mehdi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 from the University of Illinois at Chicago, with high honors in English and German Literature. She was a member of the Honors College and spent a year at the University of Vienna in Austria. She received her Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 1995. Upon graduation, Ms. Mehdi completed an internship at the Austrian law firm of Ortner, Poch & Foramitti. Ms. Mehdi focuses her practice on antitrust litigation and securities fraud litigation.
Ms. Mehdi is admitted to practice in New York (1996), California (2002), before the United States District Court for the Southern and the Eastern Districts of New York (1997), and the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California (2002). She is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association. Ms. Mehdi is fluent in German and Hindi.
