Axel D. Mehrle, Director of Investment Banking has over three decades of experience in the finance industry. He structured and coordinated the successful completion of numerous initial public offerings and private placements of both debt and equity across a wide spectrum of industry groups for public and privately traded companies.
Mr. Mehrle was also a research analyst for a NYSE member firm with an emphasis on uncovering special situation investment opportunities for the firm’s hedge fund clients. He also was a consultant to an investor rights legal practice where he conducted forensic research to uncovered substantive violations of investment ethics and securities regulation.
His most recent assignment prior to joining Wellfleet five years ago was to establish a US presence for a prominent Eastern European family fund where he sourced and reviewed investment opportunities for the fund and their affiliates. Previous to the aforementioned positions, Mr. Mehrle & Mark I. Lev, WPs CEO were corporate finance associates at a firm on Wall Street in the mid 1980’s and have known each other since then.
Prior to commencing his career in the securities industry Mr. Mehrle was a licensed Commercial Pilot and flight Instructor. |
