Avi Cohen joined ECI as Chief Operating Office in September 2006, bringing with him over 25 years of business management experience in high technology firms. Prior to joining the company, he spent more than eleven years at KLA-Tencor Corporation (S&P 500 company) including 7 years as President of KLA-Tencor Israel. Based in the US over the past 4 years, his most recent position was Group Vice President, Corporate Officer and Member of the Executive Management Committee. During his tenure, Cohen successfully led the creation of the global Metrology Group at KLA-Tencor while driving revenue and market share three-fold. Previously, he spent three years as Managing Director of Octel Communications Israel after serving for six years as the CEO of Allegro Intelligent Systems, a startup he founded and which was acquired by Octel. Mr. Cohen holds Bachelor and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Case Western Reserve University, USA. |
