With over 12 years of experience in multimedia digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm design, Avery is the principal inventor of the recognition algorithm, and has been granted eight patents. He studied as a Fulbright Scholar in Germany and holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering and three other degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where he studied at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). |
