Dr. Gilbert is a sensory psychologist specializing in odor perception, with over 16 years experience in the field of human olfaction. He is currently President of Synesthetics, Inc., a multisensory research and consulting company specializing in the consumer impact of smell. He is the former President of the Sense of Smell Institute, a not-for-profit organization and global resource for the olfactory sense. Avery is also the former Vice President of Sensory Psychology at Givaudan Roure Fragrances, and a faculty member at the Monell Chemical Senses Center. |
