Atri Chatterjee currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for CipherTrust, Inc. Chatterjee is responsible for brand building, corporate visibility, lead-generation and communication strategies to further strengthen the Company’s position as the world’s leading provider of messaging security offerings for businesses.
Prior to joining CipherTrust, Chatterjee was one of the founders of Mercora Inc., where he helped create a copyright compliant user-contributed music search and sharing service for consumers called the Mercora Network. Before founding Mercora, Inc., Chatterjee was the VP of Marketing and Business Development for McAfee.com which was purchased by Network Associates in early 2003. While at McAfee he helped launch several security products for consumers including the McAfee Security Center, Personal Firewall, and Spamkiller. He also helped McAfee.com partner with AOL and Dell for their security offerings to consumers.
Additionally, Chatterjee was an early employee at Netscape Communications where he started the product line management group for servers and later managed all platform partnerships. Prior Netscape he was at Clarify Inc. (CRM company) that later got purchased by Nortel.
Chatterjee holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania; and he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. and M.S. in computer science from Washington State University. |
