Astrid served the U.S. Government overseas for over 18 years in various logistics and customer relations positions. She has continued her education through a variety of military courses and training classes as well as numerous business and computer studies with the University of Maryland. Astrid joined Stewart Wealth Management’s administrative staff in 2003. She obtained her Series 7 and 63 licenses in 2004. Astrid’s community involvement includes many years of directing as well as acting in dramas and comedies at local theaters for needy and elderly citizens. She supports The Salvation Army by volunteering at Toy Land and contributes to disaster relief as well as numerous veterans organizations. She and her husband, LTC [R] Tab Blazek, educate young ODU ROTC members from Virginia Beach on the history of Fredericksburg and the regional battlefields during annual field trips. Astrid and Tab are residents of Fredericksburg, Virginia. |
