Dr. Ashok Gore earned both his Master’s and PhD degrees in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University, W. Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Gore has 34 years of industry experience, the majority of which has been in the areas of formulation development for OTC and ethical pharmaceuticals at a number of multinational companies.
In his most recent position at SuperGen, he was Vice-President of Pharmaceutical operations and Director of the Pharmaceutical Research Institute where he oversaw activities related to the development of drug synthesis and formulations of several oncology drugs from laboratory to production scale. This involved manufacture of clinical supplies, formulation and analytical development, process development studies and preparation of CMC documentation for IND, ANDA and NDA submissions.
Dr. Gore has published several papers in international pharmaceutical journals and has authored 4 patents covering unique formulations of anti-cancer drugs such as Taxol for oral and parenteral drug delivery. |
