Why @ eBags: Computers have changed the way we live, work, play and buy. I wanted to be associated with a company that is on the leading edge of this new frontier -- and eBags is that company. I love the fact that eBags employees have such diverse backgrounds, but everyone works well together as a team.
Favorite Childhood Trip: When I was about 16, my parents and two younger sisters took an "outpost" fishing trip. We drove into Canada, then were flown in a little four-seater plane (that landed on water!) to an "island" in the middle of a huge lake. We were dropped off for five days with nothing but a shelter (four walls and a roof), a small boat and a flare gun. We fished, swam in the lake and explored the island. At 16, I thought being without plumbing or a place to plug in a curling iron was cruel, but in retrospect, it was a great vacation and an experience I'll never forget.
Other Great Trips: Driving along the coast from Los Angeles to Seattle; visits to Yellowstone National Park; long weekend trips to the Smokey Mountains; and a belated honeymoon in Ocho Rios.
Favorite City: Chicago has it all -- a clean downtown, museums, shopping, the world's greatest pizza and Oak Street Beach.
Favorite eBags Feature: The "see more products like this" button -- comparison shopping at the click of a button!
Hometown: That's a tough question! Growing up, my family moved about every two years due to my father's job. I've lived in Kansas, Missouri, Montana, California, North Dakota, Illinois, Wisconsin and Ohio, so it's hard to narrow down a hometown to one place. |
