Biography Prior to joining the firm in June of 2007, she served as Director of Alumni Development at Christopher Newport University. Ashley also served Governor Mark R. Warner and Governor Timothy M. Kaine’s administrations as a Virginia Governor’s Fellow and Special Assistant to the Secretary of Technology. Ashley provides an array of services to individuals, families, non-profits, corporations, and endowments. Her comprehensive wealth management practice includes creating and implementing financial plans including: portfolio analysis, retirement income planning, education funding strategies, life insurance assessments and reviews, and works closely with clients in the estate planning process. Mrs. Mick works closely with each client and organization to provide in depth financial education and help them achieve their goals. Ashley graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.A in Political Science. She is a Registered Investment Company Products and Variable Contracts Representative, and an Investment Advisory Representative. Ashley also maintains Uniform Securities Agent State Law, Life and Health insurance and Managed Futures licenses. Ashley enjoys spending time volunteering with community organizations. She is on the CNU Alumni Society Board of Directors, the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership, Regional Board of Directors, the Todi Music Festival Board, and the Virginia21 Board of Directors. She is a member of the Junior League of Hampton Roads, Churchland Rotary Club, Phi Mu Fraternity Hampton Roads Alumnae Chapter, Park View Christian Church, and she is a part of the Lefcoe Leadership Development Program 2008. Ashley remains connected with politics by working on various state and local campaigns. She resides in Portsmouth with her husband David and their dog Bella. |
