Ashley assists clients with transactions related to corporate business activities, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and venture financing.Before joining Lindquist & Vennum, Ashley was an assistant city attorney in the municipal-operations section of the Denver City Attorney’s Office, where she served as in-house counsel for city agencies. Her experience includes the drafting, negotiation, and analysis of various types of contracts and agreements, along with the structuring and documentation of secured-lending transactions. In addition, she was responsible for handling litigation for her client agencies in both state and federal courts.Previously, Ashley gained several years of experience in commercial, construction, and general civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in trials, arbitration, and mediation. She also served as a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado, and as a judicial intern for the Hon. Jonathan Brant, a district court judge in the Massachusetts Trial Court (Middlesex County). |
