Ashlee Aldridge joined West Marine in August 2006 as Senior Vice President Chief Information Officer. She is a veteran of the retail industry and a member of the CIO Council at the National Retail Federation. She brings a unique combination of practical knowledge strategic thinking and business transformation experience to West Marine.
Most recently Ashlee served as the Senior Vice President Chief Information Officer at Zale Corporation. She translated the mission critical business strategies into actionable programs and timelines while partnering with other business leaders to deliver a three year Information Technology Transformation Strategy. Prior to her role as CIO Ashlee served as the Vice President of Strategic Development at Zale where she worked with Executive Management to design the five-year strategic vision strategy and mission critical business priorities.
Other experiences include serving in a key leadership role in the Deloitte office in Dallas. She provided leadership to a number of household retail names such as Michaels 7-11 Zale Neiman Marcus Blockbuster Brinker and CompUSA. Her experiences included: retail technology assessments and strategy redesigning operational business processes to enable efficiency and value cost recovery change management and she provided leadership on a number of internal and external audit engagements.
Ashlee looks forward to successfully launching a relevant information technology transformation strategy at West Marine. One that focuses on the internal and external customer as is in keeping with the passion behind the West Marine brand. Ashlee and her family spend several weeks a year enjoying boating activities on inland lakes in the Southeast such as Fairfield Bay Greer’s Ferry and Table Rock Lake. Her family is also in full restoration process of a 20-foot powerboat. |
