Ashish was founder, member board of directors, and Vice President of Engineering at Junglee.com. Junglee was a pioneer in the data integration and comparison shopping business on the Internet; and a pioneer in defining the application service (ASP) business model on the Internet. Prior to founding Junglee, Ashish was a senior member of technical staff in the core development group at Oracle Corporation. He also worked as a research staff member at IBM's prestigious Almaden Research Laboratory in San Jose, where he focused on data mining and the integration of heterogeneous information sources.His extensive experience includes data warehousing, online analytical processing and decision support and integration of information sources. Ashish holds a Ph.D. in database technology from Stanford and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur where he was awarded the President's Gold medal. |
