Ash L. Smith is a graduate of Stratford Academy in Macon, Georgia and the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. He has been licensed in the insurance industry for a decade in various risk management areas. He is a member of Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia, Exchange Club of Richmond County, Central Savannah River Land Trust and Homebuilders Association of Georgia and South Carolina. He currently serves on the Board for the Exchange Club of Richmond County and the Committee for Cookin' For Kids along with Child Enrichment. He is currently active with Historic Augusta, Morris Museum of Art and the Southeastern Natural Sciences Academy. He, his wife and two children attend First Baptist Church Augusta. |
