As an attorney for third party pension recordkeeping firms for more than 8 years, Mr. Rosenbaum is uniquely qualified in providing advice on the day to day administration of retirement plans including plan implementation, EPCRS, plan audits, terminations, EPCRS, DFVCP, non-discrimination testing issues, as well as the growing concern of retirement plan expenses. His practice concentrates on multiemployer pension plans, as well as all qualified and non-qualified retirement plans for small to medium size employers.Professional Profile Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rosenbaum served as the senior associate of the New York City law firm Cohen, Weiss & Simon, LLP. There, he specialized in preparing multi-employer 401(k) Plans, Profit Sharing Plans, Defined Benefit Plans, and Money Purchase Plans for labor union clients. He was responsible for submitting qualified plans for IRS determination letters, merging Plans and preparation of non-qualified Plans. He also prepared termination of qualified plans and submission of plans to the Internal Revenue Service Voluntary Correction Program and Department of Labor Delinquent Filer Voluntary Compliance Program.Before joining the NYC firm, Mr. Rosenbaum was the Director of ERISA Legal Services that managed Geller Group’s ERISA legal practice, which was a New York City third party pension firm with over 750 clients.
