Art Zunker 63 has held his current positions as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Materials since 1984.
Mr. Zunker has more than 27 years' accounting financial and senior management experience in the construction products industry. He joined Centex Corporation Eagle Materials' former parent in 1971 as Accounting Manager and was promoted in 1973 to Vice President and Controller of Illinois Cement Company an Eagle Materials subsidiary. In 1976 he was promoted to Vice President and Controller of Centex Corporation's oil and gas division. In 1979 he became Controller of Centex Corporation and was elected Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cenergy Corporation (Centex's oil and gas operations after initial public offering) in 1984. Previously Mr. Zunker spent four years with U.S. Gypsum Company.
He received a B.B.A in accounting from Texas A&M University at Kingsville and currently is a member of the Advisory Board of Protection Mutual Insurance Group. |
