Arthur P. Slepian is Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Financial Guaranty and Chief Executive Officer of PMI Guaranty Co. In his role, Slepian is accountable for the development and oversight of the company’s strategic investments in financial guaranty, including PMI Guaranty, FGIC Corporation, and RAM Reinsurance Company, as well as the ongoing development of synergistic opportunities between those companies and the domestic and international mortgage insurance businesses of The PMI Group, Inc. Slepian is also accountable for the financial planning, reporting, analysis, and capital management activities of PMI Capital Corporation, which manages the international and financial guaranty segments.
Slepian has more than 15 years of experience at PMI and brings a strong track record of corporate development work to his current role. Since joining PMI, Slepian has been responsible for a variety of areas, including the establishment of CMG Mortgage Insurance Company, PMI’s joint venture with CUNA Mutual Group that provides mortgage insurance to the credit union market, corporate development, and new business ventures.
Prior to joining PMI, Slepian spent three years as an assistant professor in the School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
Slepian holds a B.A. in economics from Yale University, and an M.A. in economics from Stanford University. |
