Arthur Tildesley is responsible for developing and managing all external communications with Citi’s institutional shareholders and equity research analysts regarding financial results, business strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, and other public announcements. He joined the Investor Relations Department in New York in 2003 and was promoted to Director in September 2004.
Mr. Tildesley joined the Investment Banking Department of Salomon Brothers Inc. in 1986 and became a member of the Global Power Group in 1988. Mr. Tildesley was promoted to Managing Director in 1997 and was Co-Head of the Global Power Group from 1999 to 2003.
Mr. Tildesley’s experiences as an investment banker include over one hundred equity, debt, and preferred financing transactions, and numerous strategic advisory and merger and acquisition assignments involving Top 25 electric and gas utilities. Mr. Tildesley has served on the Investment Banking Standards Committee and the Compensation Committee, and has been active in Harvard Business School recruiting.
Mr. Tildesley was valedictorian and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Widener University in 1982 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986.
