Mr. Kwong has been a consultant and manager in manufacturing technology for nearly 30 years. His management and manufacturing consulting experience includes a wide variety of manufacturing environments including job shop, continuous process, discrete, and specialty/custom plants. His background includes traditional, vertical integration, contract, outsource, and point-of-demand driven organizations.
Mr. Kwong’s clients have included the U.S. FDA and Department of Defense and related contractors as well as Asian contract manufacturing companies. He has also worked with a wide variety of U.S. manufacturing firms such as General Mills, 3M and Seagate Technologies. Mr. Kwong was also a director of Gartner’s eMetrix division responsible for deployment of manufacturing metrics in a variety of manufacturing operations and worked closely with the Avram Goldratt Institute on developing and deploying metrics for ‘Theory of Constraints’ in manufacturing and supply chain management.
