Admiral Clemins retired from the military in 1999 after serving as the 28th Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, the largest combined fleet command in the world. He is widely regarded as a prime mover for the U.S. Navy’s adoption of information technology. Admiral Clemins is currently the president of Caribou Technologies, Inc. and co-owner of TableRock International LLC, both international consulting firms that concentrate on the transition of commercial technology to the government sectors in the United States and Asia. In addition to serving on the boards of several technology corporations, he participates on the Idaho State Science and Technology Advisory Board and is a member of the Idaho governor’s 2020 Task Force. Admiral Clemins graduated from the University of Illinois (Urbana campus) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. |
