April was Director of Engineering and BioInformatics at Trellis Bioscience, a drug discovery company. April also spent two years as Director of Engineering at Signature Bioscience Inc. April has a Ph.D. in Physics from the State University of New York, Stoneybrook. She also held a Post Doctorate position in the BioPhysics department of Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. Office of Advanced Technology and Science (OATS) The Office of Advanced Science and Technology (OATS) is tasked with defining the future technological and clinical roadmap for Xoft. It is staffed by both permanent and ad hoc members, and operates in conjunction with members of Xoft s scientific advisory boards, as well as prominent members of the oncological, surgical and medical physics community. OATS explores emerging areas of opportunity that fit strategically with Xoft s goals and technological expertise in the areas of treatment planning, delivery and verification, both as in-house development and partnering opportunities. |
