Anupama is a serial entrepreneur, business executive, technologist and angel investor. Prior to founding Mobera Systems, Anupama co-founded a venture-backed company in Silicon Valley. She was also involved in doing a roll up of IT service companies in the Bay Area.Anupama has over 14 years of experience in leading and managing teams in the architecture, design, development and delivery of complex products. Prior to founding Mobera Systems, she was with the Systems and Architecture Group of Lucent Technologies (Wireless Broadband). Prior to Lucent she held a variety of software engineering positions with Synoptics / Bay Networks. Anupama has taught topics on advanced communication technologies at UC Berkeley and San Jose State Universities.Anupama is the recipient of the Athena India Leadership Award 2007 and the All India Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur Award for the year 2006-07 by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council, Ministry of Information and Technology, Government of India. Anupama has been profiled on Young Turks program on CNBC and in a number of media articles.Anupama is a Charter Member of TiE; member of the Executive Committee of the Band of Angels (now, Indian Angel Network); and advisor to VC funds.Widely traveled, Anupama has spoken at a number of industry events, symposium and standard body meetings.
