Tony White has over 30 years of systems, sales and management experience in the information technology industry. His recent endeavors have included the creation of several start-up ventures that were successfully developed and then sold. As a result of these projects, Tony has gained extensive experience in the field of enterprise content management as well as the development and support of distribution channels for the sales and implementation of complex systems. In 1966, Tony joined IBM and progressed to the ranks of senior management before founding and holding the position of CEO of CMS (a company specializing in the area of data storage technology). In 1985 he joined National Advanced Systems and was subsequently appointed Vice President of International Distributors. After a period as President of Sand Technology Systems US, Tony became a co-founder of TransEquatorial Technology Inc., a financial holding and investment company for a number of high-tech start-up ventures. Under Tony´s guidance TransEquatorial successfully launched several new businesses including the introduction of Keeloq® code-hopping technology into the USA. This technology was subsequently sold to MicroChip Technologies and now constitutes one of the three major product groups offered by MicroChip. Tony also served as President of one of the ventures, Image Choice, Inc., from December 1993 through January 1998 during which time he successfully negotiated the sale of the company to MicroAge, Inc. Tony currently serves on the boards of several technology companies including en technologies, Image Tag, ICI Solutions and Sable POS. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math and Physics from Rhodes University and is a graduate of IBM´s International Management School. |
