Antonio Madero B. is chief executive officer and chairman of the board of SANLUIS Corporación, a company he founded in 1979. Prior to that time, he served as the managing director and chief executive officer of Industrias Penoles, S.A., a mining company and producer of chemical products.
Madero is also a member of the board of directors of Alfa, SA de CV; Grupo Industrial Saltillo, SA de CV; Grupo México, SA de CV; and Grupo Posadas, SA de CV.
He is a retired member of the International Advisory Council of J.P. Morgan Chase & Company and a global counselor of The Conference Board. He is also the founder and a member of the Advisory Council of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University, and founder and chairman of the Fundación México en Harvard. Madero has a bachelor's degree in mining, engineering and metallurgy from the National University of Mexico. He received his master's in business administration from Harvard University.
