Anthoula Randopoulos joined Direct Relief International in 1999. With over 20 years in fundraising experience she is currently the Vice President, Philanthropic Investment, overseeing all cash and product donations to the organization. Under her supervision, medical product and cash donations have both increased over 100 percent.
Anthoula Randopoulos served as the Chairman of the Board of the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (PQMD) in 2005 and 2006. PQMD is a nonprofit membership association comprised of non-governmental organizations and pharmaceutical and medical supply manufacturers who share a common commitment to advancing effective drug and medical supply donation practices.
She is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and the University of Nevada, Reno . Anthoula previously held the positions of Development Director at FOODShare, Ventura County ’s food bank, and Executive Director of the Ventura Salvation Army’s homeless transitional housing program. She also was the State of Nevada ’s homeless programs coordinator, as well as the employment and training programs coordinator.
Anthoula was born in Alexandria, Egypt , and speaks Greek and French. She is a past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She has served in many boards including: FOODShare, the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County, and the Santa Barbara Greek Orthodox Church Parish Council Board. |
