Anthony Robbins joined Sun Microsystems Federal, Inc., in July 2006 and is responsible for all of Sun's U.S. federal government sales.
Robbins has more than 20 years of government sales and technology experience. Most recently, Robbins was senior vice president of worldwide sales for SGI, responsible for global sales, channels, business development and systems engineering. Previously, he was the president of SGI Federal and also held the role of senior vice president of North America. In his sales career, he has led and managed more than $1 billion in revenue and over 1,000 employees. In addition, Robbins managed more than 60 value-added reseller/integrator contracts.
Robbins also held various sales leadership roles at Falcon Microsystems, a leading partner of Apple Computer that was eventually sold to GTSI.
He earned a B.A. in marketing from Jacksonville State University and was named the university's Alumnus of the Year in 1998.
Robbins has been an active member in several key associations including the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association, the Aerospace Industries Association and the Navy League of the United States.
Robbins lives in Glenwood, Md., with his wife and five children
