Anthony (Tony) Pajunas was named Vice President, Network Operations in July 2006. In this role, Pajunas reports to the Senior Vice President, Operations, and is responsible for the national network of 350 mail processing and distribution centers, as well as the worldwide transportation network that moves the U.S. Mail, currently valued at $7 billion.
Pajunas also is responsible for continuing the Postal Service’s transformation plan efforts to create a more flexible mail processing system based on changing customer needs and the introduction of new technologies, in order to increase its productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
From 1999 until his present appointment, Pajunas served as manager, Logistics. A 33-year postal employee, he has overseen efforts to achieve a more efficient alignment of the Postal Service’s transportation resources and operational requirements.
