As executive vice president and chief financial officer, Anthony O'Toole oversees the foundation's operating budget and information management systems. He also works closely with the foundation's board treasurer and investment committee to ensure the long-term fiscal health of the organization.
Mr. O'Toole joined Legacy from Columbia University where he last served as associate vice president for financial services and systems at the Health Sciences Division. In that role, he oversaw the Health Sciences Business Office, which is responsible for accounting and reporting the division's financial activity. He was also responsible for managing school and department agreements with New York Presbyterian Hospital and the affiliation agreement with Harlem Hospital, assisting in the budget process and coordinating internal and external audit activity. At the same time, he was director of administration for a related non-profit corporation that receives gifts and endowment contributions for New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University. Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. O'Toole was an audit manager in public accounting with KPMG Peat Marwick. |
