Anthony Nocera brings a vast array of manufacturing and engineering experiences with privately-held and public corporations in specialty foods, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies to assist Yulex in expanding the manufacturing capabilities of its Phoenix, Arizona processing facility. Nocera has managed manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering and regulatory affairs, most recently as Vice President of Operations for Kaneka Corporation, a Japanese specialty chemicals company that supplies 60 to 70 percent of the Coenzyme Q10 consumed in the United States. Nocera helped build the second largest CoQ10 production facility in the world estimated at 80 million dollars. Prior to Kaneka, Nocera spent sixteen years as Plant and Process Technology Development Manager with Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, a global company that develops and delivers specialty chemical solutions to consumers and businesses. He has experience in both batch and continuous processes for fine and specialty chemical businesses including American Cyanamid where Nocera was responsible for developing processes for water treatment, agricultural chemicals, resins, plastics and rubber chemicals. Nocera received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Newark College and a Masters of Science degree, from New Jersey Institute of Technology. |
