Anthony Fox has extensive experience in advising municipalities, public sector clients, regulated industries and corporate clients on all aspects of municipal and governmental transactions including annexation, telecommunications, public finance, land use, transportation and administrative law. He frequently litigates matters on behalf of North Carolina cities, counties and governmental agencies. Most recently, Mr. Fox successfully litigated the largest involuntary annexation in North Carolina history. He has appeared before all levels of state court system and various boards and commissions and is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court. In addition to municipal law, Mr. Fox's practice includes litigation of various regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fox served as an assistant city attorney for three of North Carolina's largest municipalities. In his last post, he held the position of senior assistant city attorney for the City of Charlotte. Before his employment with the City of Charlotte, Mr. Fox served as assistant city attorney with the City of Winston-Salem and the City of Wilmington.
