Anthony V. Mulé oversees all aspects of the airline's airport and cargo operations, airport customer service, service planning and reservations.
Mulé joined America West in 1996 as vice president, inflight services. In that role, he oversaw the airline's inflight operations, including the administration of the carrier's inflight catering operations, entertainment and flight attendant work force.
Prior to joining America West, Mulé served as president and chief operating officer of SuperShuttle, a Phoenix-based national transportation company. Previously, he served four years as senior vice president of world services and services planning for Pan American World Airways, with responsibilities for operations and customer services at 127 locations in 52 countries. His experience also includes 16 years as an officer and manager of American Airlines, including vice president of the carrier's southwestern division and vice president of its western division.
Mulé received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from New York University in 1972. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by Pepperdine University in 1985.
Mulé served in the U.S. Navy and is a Vietnam veteran.
Mulé has served on the board of directors of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 20 years and currently serves on the advisory board of the Phoenix Grand Canyon Council. He is also president of COMPAS, a more than 30-year-old fundraising organization supporting arts and science in the greater Phoenix area.
