Anthony S. Baish is a member of the Litigation Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. After completing his preparatory education at the University of Iowa, Tony received his law degree from the University of Michigan where he served as an associate editor of the University of Michigan Law Review. During 1998 and 1999, Tony was a clerk for Judge Suzanne Conlon of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago. Tony currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association and as co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee. In that capacity, he is working on several initiatives to improve pro bono representation in the District, including the establishment of an expense reimbursement fund. Since joining Godfrey & Kahn, Tony has helped successfully litigate the first bad faith insurance claim ever brought on behalf of the Wisconsin Patients' Compensation Fund, and, in an appeal to the Seventh Circuit, obtained the release of a prisoner wrongfully convicted in Federal District Court in Indiana. Although Tony has litigated a wide array of commercial disputes in the state and Federal courts of Wisconsin, his practice focuses on intellectual property litigation. He has represented prominent local and national businesses across an array of industries including paper products, medical products, automotive products, and print and broadcast media on intellectual property matters. Representative clients include Kimberly-Clark Corporation, The Sportsman Channel, 102.9 The Hog, School Specialty, Inc., and ATF, Inc.
