Mr. Lentini, Jr., 56, joined the company in January 1995 as vice president public and international affairs. Mr. Lentini serves as the company’s chief corporate communications officer. His responsibilities include managing corporate communications and media relations, directing major industry public policy projects and establishing international relationships.
Prior to joining Apache, he was employed for 14 years by Mitchell Energy & Development Corp., first as manager of communications and later as vice president of public affairs. Mr. Lentini also served as director of external communications for Holiday Corporation (Holiday Inn’s parent) in Memphis, Tennessee, and special assistant to the president of Middle South Utilities (now Entergy). He has written and produced television and radio advertisements and printed materials for a variety of political, commercial and industrial clients. He serves on the board of Sheltering Arms Senior Services and co-chairs its marketing committee.
Mr. Lentini holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. |
