Anthony P. Venus is currently president of North Asian operations, a position he has held since August 2007. Mr. Venus co-founded MarketShare in 2002, a private Asian research firm with locations in Hong Kong and Singapore. Mr. Venus is a market research entrepreneur with a reputation for transforming consumer research into highly profitable corporate decisions. Recognizing his contributions in market research and new generation media, Mr. Venus was appointed a member of The World Economic Forum's Global Leaders of Tomorrow. Based in Asia for more than 13 years, Mr. Venus has consulted numerous companies on market entry, customer loyalty and branding strategies. Mr. Venus has been a regular commentator on changing consumer dynamics for international media and a speaker at various international forums on market strategy and Asian consumer and societal trends. Prior to MarketShare, Mr. Venus led Strategic Intelligence Research and developed the firm into a highly regarded Asian-based business research firm specializing in emerging markets risk analysis and market research. Prior to that, Mr. Venus held senior positions in product management and business development with The Economist Group. Mr. Venus holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Queensland Australia. He is an Australian citizen and resides in Hong Kong. |
