M. Anthony Vaida is a graduate of Brown University (B.A. 1961) and Cornell Law School (LLB 1964). He is admitted to the Bars of New Jersey, New York, District of Columbia and Colorado, as well as the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, Third Department, the Southern District of New York and the New Jersey United States District Courts, the Third Circuit and District of Columbia Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Vaida has focused his practice on Business Transactions, Business Succession Planning, Estate Planning, Land Use and Real Estate Law. He is a past President of the New Jersey Institute of Municipal Attorneys (1986-1988), former Chairman of the Local Government Section of the New Jersey Bar Association (1994-1995), General Counsel of the Joint Meeting of Essex and Union County (1988-1994), a Trustee for the Colorado Bar Association Trust and Estate Section Council (2001-2006), and a member of the Denver Estate Planning Council. He has represented both public and private companies in entity formation and acquisitions. He has also represented companies in asset acquisitions, succession planning and sale of the business, real estate development approvals and real estate acquisitions.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, and the Colorado, Northwest Colorado and District of Columbia Bar Associations. Mr. Vaida has written extensively on Land Use and Estate and Business Planning issues.
