Anthony "Tony" Tortolini is the President of CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory Services in South Florida.Mr. Tortolini joined us recently with 20 years of "Big 4'" public accounting services firm experience, achieving principal/partner status within 12 years. In the past eight years, he grew the Florida venture from $500,000 to $16 million, promoted to drive the Florida regional market and positively responded by building entrepreneurial-focused organization of 70 talented professionals. For three years he exclusively governed the Internal Audit Services practice.
Mr. Tortolini has extensive experience in project management, internal controls consulting, assurance based services and information technology auditing. He has delivered best practices to clients by implementing a portfolio of management disciplines for all global projects featuring enhanced communications, business planning, internal controls and reporting. Mr. Tortolini has deep credentials in assisting clients to manage business information risks on an enterprise-wide basis through strategic use of technology (e.g., ERP SAP). Mr. Tortolini's industry specialties include retail, technology, hospitality, entertainment and consumer products.
The introduction of the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX related) triggered clients moving third-party book-of-business from consulting to assurance-based services, the rejuvenation of internal controls and a focus on corporate governance.Mr. Tortolini prepared the Internal Audit Services practice for post-Enron activities and Independence laws changes. He effectively transitioned to the next generation of practice leadership and delivered forecast for transformation from exclusive portfolio of SOX-focused projects to traditional internal audit engagements.

Mr. Tortolini graduated Bentley College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and an A.S. in Management. He holds a Graduate Certificate of Accountancy from Babson College. Mr. Tortolini is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and an Associated Member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
