Mr. Marolda is the founder and President of The Winbridge Group. His firm, founded in 1986, specializes in corporate development engagements. Mr. Marolda has been a professional management consultant for thirty years and his direct experience in this field includes working with numerous U.S and international clients to develop corporate and business unit strategies, identify and acquire strategic acquisitions, and divest products or technologies that no longer fit the corporate goals of his clients. Mr. Marolda has been quoted on corporate development issues in many business periodicals, such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Week and U.S. News and World Reports. In addition to authoring many articles, Mr. Marolda has contributed chapters on diversification, mergers and acquisitions in books including The Handbook of Modern Marketing from McGraw-Hill, The Handbook of Business Problem Solving from McGraw-Hill, and Regional Resilience and Defense Conversion from JAI Press. Prior to founding The Winbridge Group, Mr. Marolda was a management consultant for 15 years with Arthur D. Little, Inc, where he was Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Management Counseling Section and founded the Corporate Development Counseling unit. Previous to attending Business School, Mr. Marolda worked several years as an R&D physicist. Mr. Marolda has an M.B.A. from Harvard University and B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from Northeastern University. |
