As President Mr. Beverina guides corporate development and as Chief Operating Officer he leads client-facing operations ranging from marketing & sales to solution implementations. He also manages the company's intellectual property portfolio and strategic corporate partnerships.
Mr. Beverina works with public safety, security, and critical infrastructure protection professionals at Federal, state and local agencies to identify opportunities and architect solutions for risk management and optimization. Mr. Beverina focuses on helping strategic clients replace their patchwork of tools and consultants with risk management systems that provide efficient data collection, better risk analysis, and more direct coupling to key business processes. He is a regular speaker on the subject of operational and terrorism risk management and advises government and corporate organizations on risk management and risk-based funding allocation strategies.
With Digital Sandbox, Mr. Beverina has led risk management solution integration efforts for high-profile enterprises including the Department of Homeland Security, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, the State of New Jersey, and the Tampa Bay urban area. He has orchestrated application of risk analytics in high intensity operational environments for the military, Special Forces, law enforcement, and first responder organizations. A recognized expert in Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) response planning, he has developed advanced simulation and training programs for nearly 15 years, leading design and implementation teams for the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and Department of Homeland Security.
Prior to founding Digital Sandbox, Inc., Mr. Beverina established and led multimillion dollar Modeling and Simulation business units at Sonalysts, Inc. and Kaman Sciences Corporation.
Mr. Beverina holds a Masters of Science degree in Material Science from the University of Virginia and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. |
