After obtaining his Abitur (university entrance qualification) he commenced a vocational training program as a milling cutter and mechanical engineer. Subsequently, he was employed as research engineer in various passenger car projects in the pre-development area. He qualified as TQM-Process Manager and developed the new product creation process in the framework of the Mercedes-Benz development system.
In this connection he was active in the area of Global Process Management between Germany, USA and Japan.
Ansgar Osseforth entered Daimler AG in 1970 as development engineer of passenger cars. He has been active as (E4) manager in passenger car research since 1993.
In his capacity as member of the Works Council he has been active in the HR Committee at the Sindelfingen plant since 2006, as well as in the Research and Development area. |
