Annie Morita is the senior executive charged with developing and executing on Veoh's overall marketing and programming strategy. In this role, Annie leads the company's marketing, communications, content development and editorial teams in creating innovative programs that drive viewer engagement.
A veteran of interactive marketing and entertainment, Annie joined Veoh from Gaia Interactive, Inc., where she served as vice president of Marketing for the leading online destination site for teens. Prior to her tenure at Gaia, Annie was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Sony Pictures Entertainment, where she led all brand and sales strategies for Sony's vast slate of animation, film and television titles. Annie also previously held various global leadership positions at Warner Bros. Studios and Turner Broadcasting.
In addition to her executive roles in marketing, Annie served as an international assignment editor for CNN during Operation Desert Storm, the Soviet Union coup, and the German reunification. Annie holds a BA in government from Smith College and completed the strategic marketing management executive education program at the Harvard Graduate School of Business. Annie has also studied Chinese language extensively and holds a master's diploma in Baking and Patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu. |
